The main topic of the International Symposium is the use of mobile technologies for learning, with special attention to applications for visually impaired users. For this to happen, the main aim of the ISML-VIP will be to investigate the importance as well as limits of the mobile technologies for learning for visually impaired people. Several studies have evaluated mobile and wireless technologies as being particularly suited to the implementation of learning settings; in addition, the scientific community has highlighted that mobile learning could be a suitable methodology to support specific learning needs and methodologies.
